Brookwood Group, Inc., also now known as Brookwood Advisors, is in its fourth decade of continuous operations.

The firm was established in 1989 by Shepherd Heery and Laura Heery, together with their father George Heery.

Alan Katz joined the firm in 2009. In 2010, he and Shepherd Heery began to shift the focus of Brookwood Group toward more strategic management consulting and advisory services. Since that time, the firm has increasingly operated under the name Brookwood Advisors.

Upon its formation in 1989, the firm had offices in Atlanta, New York and San Francisco.

Today, Brookwood has principal offices in Atlanta and the San Francisco Bay Area, with key personnel based in nine states across the country. Brookwood has completed projects in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Brookwood and its affiliates serve as strategic advisors, rigorously and consistently adhering to a core mission of advancing and protecting the interests of clients and partners in the management of property investment, development, design and construction.
